"The Unfolding of a Day"

Sunday, February 7, 2027 @ 3:00PMSun, Feb 7, 2027 @ 3:00PM

The Wells Barn / Franklin Park Conservatory, 1777 E. Broad Street, Columbus, OH

This interdisciplinary concert celebrating the wonder of cosmic nature is presented in collaboration with Converging Arts Columbus and will be held at Franklin Park Conservatory’s Wells Barn as part of Community Day. Led by Dr. Jason Hiester (Ohio Wesleyan University), the performance will feature percussion, piano, strings, choir, commissioned composition and poetry, and projections by local visual artists, centering on themes of earth, sun, moon, and a day as a metaphor for a human life. Designed as a site-responsive immersive experience in a nontraditional venue, the project invites audiences to engage in celebration of music, nature, and art while supporting Columbus-based artists and organizations.
