Alexander Goldberg (violin) and Mariko Kaneda (piano) will perform two masterpieces: "Kreutzer Sonata" by Beethoven and "Grand Duo" by Schubert. Praised for his “fierce and sensitive” performances, Alexander Goldberg is an Italian American violinist known for connecting music to broader aesthetic and literary themes. A DMA candidate at the CUNY Graduate Center in New York, he recently joined the Musikk i Nordland Piano Quintet in Norway. A well-known fixture in the Central Ohio classical music scene, Mariko Kaneda serves on the faculty at Ohio Wesleyan University and collaborates regularly with the Columbus Symphony, The Ohio State University School of Music, and BalletMet Columbus.
